Personal Access Door (Connect Precision)

Overview

Commonly referred to as PA doors, this feature uses a drop-down list to display available door options.
Sizes are displayed as height × width.

To add a PA door to the building design:

Select the PA Door link in the Openings tab.
A pop-up box will appear listing all available PA door options.

Generally, PA doors can be positioned in any available shed end or side wall, although some configurations may require bracing changes.

When quoting, select from the PA door drop-down list either left- or right-hinged doors.
If no option is selected, left-hinged doors will be applied by default.

Only doors suitable for wheelchair access are specifically noted within the list.
A check of the BOM will confirm whether a left- or right-hinged door has been included.

Sealeck Pre-Hung Dual Skin PA Door

Sealeck Personal Access Metal Clad Doors

Stable split door

The Champion split door, commonly used in horse stable designs, measures 2400 × 1100 mm.

Features a black ply infill for safety.

Larnec shed door

The Larnec shed door is available in two sizes: 2040 × 820 mm and 2040 × 1100 mm.

Single-skin metal-clad door with steel facings and fold-down vertical sides for added strength and appearance.
Pre-hung into a powder-coated welded RHS frame.
Supplied with a knob/lever entrance set.

Larnec double doors

The Larnec double door consists of two doors, each measuring 2040 mm high × 820 mm wide, with independent swing directions.

Metal-clad on one side with a keyed lockset.
Provides a light security rating suitable for general shed applications.

Positioning and deleting a PA door

To position a PA door:

Go to the Openings tab.
Select Position Components from the dropdown menu.
Follow the steps in the Position Components Wizard.

To delete a PA door:

Right-click on the PA door within the building design.
Select Delete.

Tips, best practices & troubleshooting

Always check the BOM to confirm door size and hinge side.
Ensure bracing adjustments are made when positioning doors near structural elements.
Select the correct door type for accessibility and site requirements.
Use pre-hung models for improved installation efficiency.
