Roof Sheeting

Overview

The Roof Sheeting section in SMS allows users to select from a range of roof cladding profiles supplied by Metroll, available in multiple finishes and thicknesses.

 Why this is important

  • Ensures the correct roofing profile and thickness is applied to the design.

  • Helps maintain compatibility with wall sheeting, flashings, and accessories.

  • Allows flexibility in appearance, performance, and cost depending on client needs.

Available sheeting profiles

Trimclad®

Trimclad® is available as both a roof and wall sheeting profile, and is most commonly supplied as:

  • 0.42 BMT (Base Metal Thickness)

Profile specifications:

  • Rib height: 29 mm

  • Flat pan: 130 mm

  • Sheeting coverage: 762 mm

Additional options:

  • Ultra Trimclad® 0.48 BMT is also available in SMS (limited colours available).

Corodek®

Corodek® is available as both a roof and wall sheeting profile, and is supplied as:

  • 0.42 BMT (Base Metal Thickness)

Profile specifications:

  • Ridge height: 16 mm

  • Sheeting coverage: 762 mm

Additional options:

  • Ultra Corodek® is available in SMS (limited colours available).

Tips, best practices & troubleshooting

  • Use Trimclad® for high-strength applications requiring deeper rib profiles.

  • Use Corodek® for traditional corrugated appearance or where flexibility is required.

  • Verify colour availability before quoting; Ultra options have restricted colour ranges.

  • Ensure roof sheeting type matches wall sheeting where consistent appearance is required.
