Colorbond
Overview
COLORBOND® steel is engineered to withstand Australia’s extreme and varied climate conditions. It undergoes extensive testing—including corrosion, durability, application, and outdoor exposure testing—to ensure long-term performance across a wide range of environments.
Why This Is Important
COLORBOND® steel is tested to perform in harsh Australian weather, including heat, cold, dust, wind, rain and hail.
More than 12,000 test panels are monitored across Australia, from moderate to severe marine regions and industrial to tropical conditions.
BlueScope’s assessment program exceeds Australian testing standards, providing confidence in real-world performance.
