Wall Sheeting
Overview
The Wall Sheeting section in SMS allows users to select from several Metroll wall cladding profiles, each offering different finishes, coverage, and strength options.
Why this is important
Ensures the correct wall cladding profile and thickness is selected.
Maintains design integrity and compatibility with the building structure.
Supports client preference for appearance, strength, and durability.
Available sheeting profiles
Trimclad®
Trimclad® is available as both a roof and wall sheeting profile and is most commonly supplied as:
0.42 BMT (Base Metal Thickness)
Profile specifications:
Rib height: 29 mm
Flat pan: 130 mm
Sheeting coverage: 762 mm
Corodek® & Horocorro
Corodek® is available as both a roof and wall sheeting profile, supplied as:
0.42 BMT (Base Metal Thickness)
Profile specifications:
Ridge height: 16 mm
Sheeting coverage: 762 mm
Note:
Coverage specification does not apply to Horocorro sheeting.
Metroclad® 850
Metroclad® 850 is only available as a wall sheeting profile and is supplied as:
0.35 BMT (Base Metal Thickness)
Profile specifications:
Ridge height: 13 mm
Large flat pan design
Sheeting coverage: 850 mm
Additional details:
Maximum wall height in SMS: 4.2 m
Not available in all areas — in some cases, Trimclad® 0.35 BMT will be supplied instead.
Not all colours are available across all regions.
Tips, best practices & troubleshooting
Use Trimclad® for strong, modern ribbed wall designs.
Use Corodek® for traditional corrugated finishes or flexible wall applications.
Use Metroclad® for wide flat-panel aesthetics on modern designs.
Always verify colour and BMT availability with your local Metroll depot.
Confirm wall height limits in SMS before quoting with Metroclad® 850.
